The Siege of Exterrea

Tera: Party Hardy Kobold Time

Well it did not take long after joining The Bolting Buck to go on an important mission. Was sort of surprised how quickly it took for me to “acclimate” into the guild. If anything it seems like I’ve made a friend (possibly friend with benefit) with Akvah who is also a new comer as well as that adorably fluffy bartender, Rita.

My first mission was to take down the Kobold General Ozolo. We spent a few days finding his fortress and along the way I appeared to kill some civilians on a dock. I let my prejudice about Kobolds get the best of me and being that I know what it is like to be thought down on, I shouldn’t have acted so rashly. From now on I resolve to think before I act instead of going in guns blazing. I don’t need to work so hard to prove myself. Anyways, the fight with Ozolo was very inconvenient being that his thrown had a special gem that absorbed fire spells and projected a giant hologram. In the end we proved more powerful but it was a close fight and I accidentally worked against us a few times.

Hopefully next mission will be less taxing or at least more suited to my talents.

The Guild is getting larger. And not any more powerful. I am okay with the dwarf settling into the tavern. He was never a strong fighter. But several of the members — I feel they do nothing. Landen will insist otherwise. But I never see the take jobs from the board. Perhaps there is favoritism for them and they have access to better jobs with better pay. I’m too distrusting to say that it is unlikely.

We have taken care of two of the reptilian generals. We should not hesitate before we strike, again. Once the slave girl brings Styx and Zaius home, we should pick a new target. Until that time, let the others go and prove themselves.

new queen in town
new times

I am phage the incest queen :

As queen I will ask my trusty servant (William T. Riker) to write this note for me.

And start

today his majesty got to his new home. Its called the bolting buck. As soon as his majesty walked through the door his majesty could tell this place would do nicely for the swarm.

his majesty talk to the man at the front desk. he gave his majesty a key and told his majesty to make his-self at home. He also informed his majesty that there is a job board that he can look at if his majesty wanted to start to make some cash.

his majesty thought it would be best if we put this off for now to take a look around the town.
As his majesty walk around town, we found the carpenters guild. With a long talk with the guild it sounds like they do not like the bolting buck that much.

his majesty stopped by some other places around town. The next one was called the leaf layers. his majesty really likes these people. they seem to be more about nature then a lot of the other people around town. After hours of wondering the hall his majesty found the guild leader. she seems a little strange but hey his majesty think she could make a good addition to the swarm.

by this time it was getting late so his majesty though it best if we went back home for the night. his majesty is a wise man. so ends this note.

best of luck

Akvah: First Days

I like this place already! I was a bit worried about how it would turn out, but the people here are great!

Rita’s wonderful. Hope I get to spend more time with her in the future.

Not too fond of the whole “killing the generals” thing, though…

Seems a little unnecessary to me.

Drott: Dogma

Mofutan gives me strength. He gives me power.

There are other gods who exist, more than I could guess. And they all have their own followers. Some grant power to a select few. But Mofutan is the one who watches over me — who shares his wisdom and courage of the men of the Hunt.

I’d be foolish to say their gods are wrong. I’ve seen the power invoked by them. But not all gods are gracious enough to watch over the soldiers of Zolann. And in punishment, Mofutan turns ignorant to the troubles of lesser men. His heart is in the Wild, in Zolann, with me and my fellow hunters.

Kane refuses to believe. He’s foolish at times. He’s seen the power. He pretends, though. For my sake. I know that he could serve the Hunter, well. And in return, gain strength through his power. But I cannot force him to believe. Futile efforts are best reserved for futile men.

Vandlo: Sky Terror
A Traveller's Guide

Sky Terror

Sky Terrors, as the Zolannese call them, are cunning and intelligent avian predators. Originally appearing very much humanoid these creatures are deadly hunters who should be avoided at all costs.

Appearance and Traits

These creatures, as stated previously, are able to wrap their wings around their body to appear almost humanoid from a distance. They are able to speak common and seem to almost enjoy conversing with their prey before hunting them down, this could be due to their seemingly solitary nature. When beginning their attack the unfurl their wings (which often appear as robes when they wish to appear less threatening) and distend their jaws.

Hunting

Upon acquiring prey they surround them in what can only be described as a wall of fire. They then proceed to use a combination of fire and dust based attacks to confuse and disorient their targets, often blinding them and leaving them unable to defend themselves, while they attack from the sky. While I did not witness this personally, I believe that once they have worn their prey down they start attacking with a venomous bite that will have horrific effects on its target. Once the target is (mostly) dead, they will proceed to consume their prey’s flesh.

Defense

I highly suggest bringing a few enchanted ranged weapons with you if you plan on encountering this creature. Failing that, some kind of netting or trap to keep the creature on the ground is highly advised. The best advice I can give you when going up against this creature is to attempt to escape at all costs, as it is a fearsome foe.

Hlvart: A Good Feeling Found
Catching a day in the sun.
Man, it certianly is a great evening now isn’t it? The sun setting over the water. What a scene, and everyone seems to be hitting on a good streak too! Krill, we either got them thinking like us or doing this good gig is at least a quick feeling. Well either way I’m gonna sit and enjoy this…

Thought from Kane
kill all people

kane what are you doing? not sure what I am doing. risking my life for what? for these people?

I need to start staying out of danger these people need to do more or they might just meet with a untimely end. I think though taking this little brake will help us get to know the new people better.

Not sure but |I might have to let these people know that I can and will take on those who work against me. I might suggest to brother that we do these side missions while those people go talk to that butcher that is the flaming Kobold. i still dont think they understand how bad this guy is.

But hey its not my death its all them.

Aodris: Give Me Your Hands, If We Be Friends

We have found new company, including one of our own countryfolk. He is most agreeable.

We seem to be encountering much success with this tavern business; the fox damsel’s tea has brought in many visitors. They say that we are off to hunt some more of these people they call generals, but we misremember why.

Perfidious has been restless of late. Perhaps we must spend a night or two under the stars once more, to remember our kingdom. It is difficult to be so far from home, but we are certain our people are doing well.
